Emergency Tree Call Out - High Winds Bring Tree Down Causing Road Block

Who you Gonna Call? Not ghostbusters, but North West Landscapes Ltd. We were called out on at 5.30pm, on a dark January evening in 2020, to clear a tree which had fallen across a residential road in North Mossley Hill, Liverpool.

The local Highways closed the road and set-up a traffic diversion.  The job needed to be done quickly to open road access. A silver birch tree had blown over in the high winds. Residents had been diverted.

We were called because we are known to be able to quickly mobilise our crew at short notice. Within an hour of arriving on site, we chainsawed the tree, clearing the road of obstruction, freeing the highway and residential traffic to resume its normal activity.

Our client, John Moores University, had been alerted by the Highways agency. We were able to remove the tree to University grounds within the hour, allowing traffic to return and remove diversions.  The following day we were able to remove the safely stored logs from the University's site.
