Tree Removal near high voltage railway power line Liverpool L18

Safety in tree work is paramount. Tree surgeons from North West Landscapes Ltd were called out to this silver birch tree. It needed removing to allow site access. Beyond standard risks of tree work, this tree was right next to the main Liverpool railway line at Penny Lane, Mossley Hill, Liverpool 18. It wasn’t a large tree but the task of removing the tree had risk of cut branches falling into the path of the main overhead rail power line.

Efficient, no nonsense, professional tree removal

You can see for this small job, we used just a two man team of Paul and John. They made short, efficient work of the job as you can see in the video below. It doesn’t matter what size tree you have, from huge beech trees, enormous conifers that come crashing through the roof of your house (see picture below)

Our tree surgeon climbs a ladder to attach a line to the upper tree. Our site manager, John, is ready to pull away the cut upper tree canopy to ensure it falls safely away from the path of the high voltage power line just behind it.

After the top of the tree is removed, another line is attached to the main trunk. Our tree surgeon, Paul, standing beside the tree base, makes appropriate cuts into the tree trunk base to ensure it falls into the area chosen. Once the cuts are complete, the main trunk is pulled to safety in one straight movement.

Once the tree has been felled, the job is completed by quickly chopping into manageable logs.
Depending on the site and client wishes, these may be piled to create bug houses which encourages wildlife.

If the logs could cause obstruction, they can be removed off site.

Massive 40 metre fallen eucalyptus tree removed from house roof

We’re tree surgeons serving the whole of Liverpool, the Wirral and Cheshire. North West Landscape Ltd deals with some massive tree work jobs.

Winter winds will bring down huge trees. This eucalyptus was around 120 feet high and weighed around 60-70 tons. It was so large we had to bring in construction cranes as the cut limbs were lifted from the roof. The job took around 4.5 days to complete at the beginning of December 2021.
