Listed building, St Andrews church, Rodney Street, Liverpool L1 was neglected since the 1960s. No roof, weeds and vegetation had taken over. Note the 'floor' line on the walls. 5ft high saplings. A neglected space used by addicts meant the site posed risk from discarded syringes. Stone masons from Mather & Ellis needed to erect scaffolding to renovate the walls. They needed the site cleared before they could start work. We cleared it in three days to allow building works to commence on restoration of the structure for use by the University.
